YMX Filters produces formed filters by punching the wire mesh cloth into shapes and stamp them into formed shapes. These formed shaped meshes are the semi-finished products which may need further processes before end using, like rimming, plastic injections, welding onto other parts, rubber processes, etc. We provide these formed filters in shapes of flat pieces, bowl shaped pieces, cone shaped pieces, and any other customized shapes, and we provide them from hand sizes down to finger sizes. Every little piece of our filter parts are 100% qualified. We have strict quality checking control before packing and delivery.
Formed filters are used as semi-finished products in the production of a complete filter, which can be inserted or further processed to a independent filter product.
The formed mesh filters are produced by punching the stainless steel woven mesh cloth into certain shapes and then press it to force the mesh wires deformed, and becomes an ideal shape for the filter. The production technology is always matched to the respective metal mesh being used. Thermal pre-treatment of the fabric guarantees the necessary dimensional stability and process ability without changing the pore size. Pre-cleaning and, if necessary, post-cleaning of fabrics and components allows the components to be produced in the requisite cleanliness classes. In many cases, formed filters are produced in large series for the automotive industry. With such high quantities, production is performed on the basis of partially and fully automated production lines. 100% component monitoring is always an integral part of these production lines.
