How a T Strainer Works

Fluid enters the strainer through the inlet pipe.

The fluid passes through the internal filter basket or mesh screen.

Solid particles are captured inside the basket.

Clean fluid exits through the outlet pipe.

When debris accumulates inside the basket, the cover can be opened and the filter basket removed for cleaning and reuse.
