Sieve bend screen is a curved, stationary wedge-wire screen system used for separation and dewatering tasks, often in industrial and wastewater applications. The curved profile allows material and slurry to flow across the screen surface with the effect of gravity and the curved geometry acting together to enhance separation.
The feed slurry or fluid is evenly distributed at the top of the curved screen assembly. As it flows downward along the curved wedge-wire surface, smaller particles and liquid pass through the slot openings, while larger solids continue moving along the surface and are discharged. The curvature increases the effective separating area and enhances dewatering by exploiting gravitational and centrifugal forces.
Curved arc length (various radii, e.g., 800, 1200, 1600 mm arcs) for different capacities.
V-shaped (wedge) profile wires welded to support rods for the curved surface.
Slot widths customised according to particle size to be separated.
Low headroom, no moving parts (for static versions), leading to lower maintenance.
High throughput and efficient dewatering thanks to curved surface design.
No (or minimal) moving parts in static installations → lower maintenance and lower energy consumption.
Precision slot openings allow fine particle separation (down to e.g., 0.2 mm) in some applications.
Durable wedge-wire construction (stainless steel or specialty alloys) suitable for abrasive or corrosive media.
Custom radii, arc length and slot geometry to match existing equipment or retrofit installations.
Mining and mineral processing — fine particle classification, dewatering of slurries.
Wastewater treatment and water intakes — initial screening and solids removal in industrial or municipal systems.
Food & beverage, pulp & paper — solids separation in process water or side streams.
Coal preparation plants — de-watering coal fines or slime streams.
Custom arc lengths/radii (e.g., 800, 1200, 1600 mm or other per your layout)
Slot sizes tuned to your separation target (e.g., 0.2 mm to several mm)
Material options: Stainless Steel 304/316, duplex, etc.
Support frame/housing, feed box design and mounting provisions for your system.
Modular panel design to enable easy replacement and maintenance.
