The Internally Fed Rotary Drum screen is a reliable and efficient solid-liquid separation device designed for wastewater treatment. It is capable of removing solid particles larger than 0.2 mm. Wastewater enters the drum through the feed inlet pipe, flows over the distribution weir, and passes onto the inner drum surface. As the drum rotates, solids are retained on the screen surface while liquids pass through the mesh, enabling continuous separation.

 YMX internally-fed rotating drum screen has been engineered for high performance and low maintenance.  These screens have no running seals which means no by pass.  They are used extensively in pumped flow MBR applications for this reason.  Trunnions, spray bar and brush can be easily accessed via individual maintenance ports without removing the covers or screen cylinder.
